The cliffs at Railay Beach were quite busy when we went (1st Jan). However, it's a lovely location with nice climbs suitable for all levels, from beginner (grade 4-5) to expert (grade 7+). I went with two children aged five and nine. The kids had both climbed before, but the instructors were great. I'd have no issue learning to climb here. We did a 4-hour session, which was more than enough.

I did a half day tour with Lek and he was so lovely and encouraging the whole time!! Was recommended to climb in Krabi and it did not disappoint at all. When we were struggling on the wall he was watching very closely to guide to the top even though it was tough.
